Yrian Arthur DeVore passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023 at the age of 49 years old. Yrian was the only child of Juanita D. Collins. He was a native of New Orleans. He was the eldest grandchild of the family. He was raised with the assistance of Uncles Arthur DeVore, Sr., Joseph Sharp, Sr., Randolph Sharp, and the late Thaddeus DeVore and Reginald DeVore. His aunts Cynthia DeVore,  Nathalie Sharp, and Darlene D. Mays. His Mother married Raymond Collins Sr. who was a loving and devoted stepfather. Rian discovered God early in life.

He further developed his relationship with God within his marriage to Ingra Butler-Devore to which they reared 5 daughters. He was an ordained Deacon under the leadership of Reverend Charles Brown, Sr. In Rian’s early years, he worked from the restaurant industry to Offshore with his certification in Culinary Arts. Later in life, he pursued a career as Truck Driver which was his passion. He met his best friend, Chad McKinsey whom he called his “brother.” Family was very important to Rian and he demonstrated his love everyday. Rian loved cooking, fishing, bible study, and spending time with his family. Evangelism was very important to Rian and he was elated to speak regarding the miracles of Christ in his life.

Rian leaves to cherish his memory and to celebrate his love and devotion his mother, Juanita D Collins(Raymond), his wife Ingra DeVore, his children, Dayana and Ilaina DeVore  and Indya, Teelah, and Kayley McCoy. His father-in-law, Truman Butler, Sr (MaryAnn), mother-in-law, Carol Sabine. Brothers-in-law Horace Washington, Sr. (Watika) and Truman Butler, Jr. (Ashley). Sister-in law, Angela Julian (Gregory). Rian also leaves to cherish his memory a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral service on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, 2100 Second Street. Slidell, La. 70460 at 11am. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. Interment will be private. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Denham Springs. La.
