A resident of Baton Rouge, LA and a native of Dennis Mills, LA, he departed this earthly life Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Promise Hospital. He was 45 years old and a retired Certified Hi-Tech Industrial Sprayer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. He was a 1985 graduate of Greensburg High School and attended Southwest Mississippi Junior college. An avid sports fan, he excelled in football on high school, college, and semi-professional levels. He leaves to celebrate his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Marla Muse-Morris, seven daughters, Chasidy, Raven, Therisha, Makayla, Theronisha, Destiny, and Jailen; two grandchildren, Jakyra and Ryleigh Chester; parents, Henry and Betty Morris, two brothers, Dwaine (Renee) Morris, Houston, TX and Bryan (Talya) Morris, Sr., Pearl, MS, three sisters-in-law, Rose (Charles) Davis, Maude Harris, Pearl (Dyronne) Jennings, two brothers-in law, Bobby (Geraldine)Muse and Milon (Pauline) Muse, former spouse, Shumeker C. Morris, and a host of aunts, uncles, great-aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visiting at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013.
Visiting will resume at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, 50311 Hwy. 16, Denham Springs from 11 a.m. Saturday until religious service at 1 p.m. , Rev. Isaac Hammond, officiating. Interment in Andrew Chapel UMC Cemetery.
