Shirley Berthelot Greenlee, a resident of Holden, she departed this life Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at her home at age 51. Visitation at James Chapel Methodist Church, 28200 James Chapel Rd. South, Holden from 6 pm to 10 pm, Friday March 21, 2014. Religious service at the church at 12 pm Saturday. Conducted by Brother Ray McDonald. Survived by her partner, Doug Martin, Holden; two sons, Sidney Berthelot and wife Christy, Holden and Steven Berthelot and wife Tiffany, Walker; four grandchildren, Skylar Berthelot, Holden, Stephanie Berthelot, Walker, Ravyn Berthelot, Holden and Sabrina Berthelot, Walker; a sister, Dotty Faye Graham, Denham Springs; four brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Donald Ray Stewart, Pine Grove; Melvin Graham, Holden; Mr. & Mrs. Hulon Graham, Denham Springs and Michael Graham, Hammond; a special sissy, Rose Graham, Hammond; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Hulon & Joan Clayton; her parents, Benjamin Henry & Ruby C. Avants, Sr. and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Steven Berthelot, Sidney Berthelot, Reno Turbeville, Huon Graham, Jr. , Jessie Wascom and Justin Strickland; honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
