Rufus Thompson, Jr. departed this life on January 23, 2025, at the age of 79. Religious service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Greater Rose Hill Westside Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 Church St., Hammond, La 70401 at 10 am. Rev. Leroy Taylor will be officiating the service. Interment will be in Holly Gardens Cemetery.
