Percy {“PT109”} Lawrence Turnley, Sr.

Percy “PT109” Lawrence Turnley, Sr., transitioned from this earthly life into eternal life at his home, on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the age of 84.

Percy retired from Exxon Refinery, after 30 years of service as a supervisor. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, of 59 years, Mary Wright
Turnley; one daughter, Dina Turnley; one stepdaughter, Gail (Michael)
Thomas; one stepson, Melvin (Patricia) Wright; two grandsons,
Devante, Joshua Turnley; four granddaughters, Ceara, Kristalyn, Sara,
Senetra Turnley; one daughter in-law, Ella Turnley, and a host of nieces,
nephews, relatives, and friends. Percy is preceded in death by his
parents, Walter Turnley and Edna Sparrow; one son, Percy Turnley, Jr.;
one grandson, Jamar Jermaine Turnley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, 9am until  religious service 10am. Service will take place at Greater St. James B.C., 1105 North 44th Street, Baton Rouge, LA. Service officiated by Dr. Robert Smith . Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Baton Rouge, LA. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Denham Springs, LA.
