Nathaniel "Butch" Gordon, Sr., 33, a resident of Baton Rouge, departed this life Wednesday,
May 6, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. Visitation at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs from 2 pm to 7 pm Friday, May 8. Visitation will resume at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Lane, Greensburg from 8 am Saturday until religious service in the chapel at 12 noon. Conducted by Dr. Alton Robertson. Interment in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington. Survived by his mother, Leola Gordon; a son, Nathaniel "Little Butch" Gordon, Jr.; devoted friend, Katy Miller; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends including best friends, James Wright, Brandon Clark and Kevin Green. Preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel D. Maniger. Special thanks to the MICU staff, doctors and nurses at OLOL.
