 Menisha Carter, a beloved member of the community, passed away on September 6, 2023. She was a cherished daughter, sister, friend, and colleague whose life touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Born and raised in Greensburg, Louisiana, Menisha was a beacon of light in her community. Her unwavering kindness and generosity brought joy to those around her. Throughout her life, she demonstrated an incredible sense of compassion and empathy towards others.

Her spiritual connection provided strength and solace during both joyous and difficult moments. It is within the walls of this sacred place that friends will gather to bid farewell to Menisha during the visitation on September 16th from 9:30 AM to 1:15 PM Lazard Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Greensburg, LA.  
A funeral service will follow at Lazard Temple COGIC from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM on the same day. 

The interment will take place at Turners Chapel Cemetery, located at 875 Turners Chapel Cemetery in Greensburg, Louisiana.

Menisha Carter will be remembered as a compassionate, kind-hearted woman who strived to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Her unwavering spirit and zest for life touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Although Menisha's presence is no longer physically with us, her memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.

Menisha is survived by her loving family and numerous friends whose lives she brightened with her infectious laughter and genuine care. She will forever be missed but never forgotten.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
