Marquis D'Juan Thomas, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Dallas, Texas. Born August 4, 1986. Marquis departed his earthly life on July 4, 2013 at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Marquis was a 2005 graduate of Glen Oaks Senior High School. Beloved son of Edward and Linda Scott. Grandparents: Melvin (Sarah) Thomas and Dorothy (Leo) Moore. Brother: Montrel Thomas. Niece: Ta'Laijah Thomas. Marquis also leaves to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and close friends.

Visitation at Community Bible Baptist Church, 1729 Monte Sano Ave., Baton Rouge, on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m.
Interment in Thomas Chapel Cemetery, 3000 Sunshine Rd., Baker.
