A loving wife and mother, she entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 6:06pm in the comfort of her own home. She was 89. Visitation at Remnant Church of God in Christ, 8895 Florida Blvd., Walker, La. on Saturday, January 29, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by Elder Samuel Montgomery Sr. Interment in St. Mark Cemetery, Walker, La.
Lois Deemer is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Smith (Jimmie), Chicago, IL; Marilyn Hayes, Denham Springs, LA; and Jeanne Griffin, Baton Rouge, LA; one son, Gary Deemer Sr., two sisters, Hazel Knox, Chicago, IL; and Geraldine Miles, Baton Rouge, LA; three brothers, Phillip Rheams, Chicago, IL; Laurel Rheams (Liz), Chicago, IL; and James Rheams (Kathy), Tylertown, MS; one aunt, Elma Primas, Baton Rouge, LA; one sister-in-law, Betty Jackson (Matthew); fifteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, three god daughters and one godson.
