Linda Fleming Perkins

Linda Fleming Perkins, a resident of Denham Springs, she departed this life Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Ochsner Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 67 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs from 6 pm to 8 pm Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. Religious service at Greater St. Andrews Baptist Church, 7000 Earhart Blvd., New Orleans at 10 am Saturday. Conducted by Rev. Nathaniel Jackson. Interment in Providence Memorial Park, Metairie. Survived by her husband, James Perkins of Denham Springs; two sons, Mark Fleming (Roanna) and Kevin Fleming (Angela) all of New Orleans; a daughter, Octavia Mason, New Orleans; a step daughter, Claudia Perkins, Long Beach, CA; seven grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Bell and two sisters, Marilyn Jackson and Sabrina Rayford all of New Orleans and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Employees of Winn Dixie Super Market, Save A Lot Grocery and Wal Mart are invited to attend the service. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly service Funeral Home, Denham Springs.
