Letha Scott Dunbar, was born to the union of Eddie J. Scott and Minnie L. Allison on February 21, 1961, in Independence, Louisiana. Letha, accepted Christ at a early age. A peaceful evening, while with family God sent his angel to call Letha into eternal rest on February 11, 2021. Letha graduated from Denham Springs High School in 1979 and attended American College. Throughout her life she loved to fish, dress, and swim. She loved spending time with her family. Her inspiriting presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known her. Her health retired her at a early age and she begin hemodialysis at 28 years of age. Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her sons, David, Harral Jr., Derrick, and Damien all of Baton Rouge, La. Two sisters, Ida Mitchell and Cynthia Scott of Beaumont, Texas, Godchild. Shannon Mitchell of Beaumont, Texas, 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Parents, Grandparents, Brother (Darby W. Scott) and Nephew (Everett Mitchell Jr.), Uncles, Aunts, other relatives and friends. Services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home 7803 Florida Blvd East Denham Springs La. Viewing will be from 9am – 11am. Service will begin at 11 am.
