Lee Van Scott, a beloved husband, passed away, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. A life-long resident of Denham Springs, Lee Van is survived by his wife, Sarah Scott; two step children: Rayfield Riley, III and Minister Raphineas (Maria) Riley, Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Peronica Riley; four sisters: Myrtle Tilley, Sandra Scott Gross (Sherbert), Tina Scott Thomas, and Michelle Scott Key (Clarence); six brothers: Randolph (Marie) Lomas, Edmund (Gladys) Scott, Bobby Scott, Robert (Brenda) Scott, Michael (Charmaine) Scott and Jerome Spain; two other brothers-in-law: Charles (Gloria) Landry, Sr. and Daniel Landry, Sr.; three other sisters-in-law: Irma Landry Monday, Mary Landry Smith, and Rosalie Ashton Washington; eight grand children: Alexaundrea, Rachael, Raphineas Jr., Raychelle, Kendra, Raydan, Rayann, and Rayfield, IV; three God Daughters: Elizabeth Wyatt, Whitney Cranston, and Sara Anne Martin; others relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee Scott and Emma Lucille Johnson and sister, Mary Viola Scott Washington. Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at New Zion Baptist Church, 126 East Street, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Gordon Feltus Lazard Cathedral (Saintsville), 8930 Plank Road, Baton Rouge LA 70811 with Pastor Adolphus T. White officiating.
