Joseph Mitchell "Joe", 74, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Plaquemine, he departed this life Friday, May 30, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. Visitation at Living Faith Christian Center, 6375 Winbourne Ave., Bishop Raymond Johnson, pastor from 9 am Friday, June 6, 2014 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. William Bates. Survived by his devoted wife, Helen Mitchell, Denham Springs; two daughters, Shameka Mitchell Williams (Ronnie), Baton Rouge and Jacqueline Rheams, Denham Springs; two sons, James Mitchell, Baton Rouge and Kent Scott, Denham Springs.
