Jimmie D. Muse was born in Greensburg, LA on August 16, 1944 to the late Alex Muse, Sr. and Blanch Pounds Muse. He was called from life to reward on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Health Center.
Jimmie gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Spears in Independence, LA. He was educated in East Baton Rouge Parish public schools and graduated from McKinley Senior High School. He was employed by Patrician Management for over 22 years until his health begin to fail.
Jimmie leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife Yvonne Caston Muse for 46 years, two son, Jimmie Demond "LaTosha" Caston and Kendrick "Faith" Caston of Baton Rouge, LA; two daughters, Pam "Derry" and Brenda Caston of Baton Rouge, LA; one brother, Walter C. (Francis) Muse, of Austin, TX,; two sisters, Josie Lee Muse, and Dora P. (Rev. Dennis Ray) Garner of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
There will be a Walk-Through on Friday, March 26, 2021 at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home - 7803 Florida Blvd, Denham Springs, LA 70726 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Masks are Mandatory.
