A resident of Baton Rouge and a Capital High School graduate class of '75, passed away on Monday, June 10th, 2013 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. He was a professional residential and commercial insulator with A&E Insulations. Ronie was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed all it had to offer. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Ronie will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Valencia Criss Scott, mother Freddie Mae Scott Lamb, three Children: Anthony Stewart, Kenneth Criss and Jessica Criss, grandchildren Devin and Noel Criss; sisters Theresa Conerly, Carolyn King Spears, Sybil Scott King and Andrea Stewart Cunningham; brothers Stanley Scott, Willie Stewart King and Mike King.
Visitations will be at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd., Denham Springs, on Thursday, June 20th, from 5-7:00p.m. Visiting will resume at First Little Rock Baptist Church, 312 South 17th Street, Baton Rouge, on Friday, June 21st, from 9 a.m. until services begins at 11a.m. officiated by Pastor Ora Bradford. Burial will be at Plainview Cemetery, Denham Springs.
