Janie Lee Thomas Johnson, beloved mother, friend, passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 69. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Born on April 27, 1954, Janie was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was known for her warm smile and compassionate nature. Janie had a knack for making everyone around her feel welcomed and loved. Her bright spirit brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing service in honor of Janie's life, which will be held at Friendship Chapel Baptist Church on October 28, 2023. The viewing will begin at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend James Williams. The address of the church is 2111 North Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
