Janie Mitchell "Janice", 60, a resident of Prairieville and a native of Denham Springs, departed this life Saturday, May 9, 2015 at her home. Visitation at New Zion Baptist Church, 206 East St., Denham Springs, Dr. Leroy Taylor, pastor from 8 am Saturday May 16 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Elder Joe T. Mitchell. Interment in Plainview Cemetery, Denham Springs. Survived by her siblings, Theresa, Terry, Lecie, Hope, Danny Ray, Lamont, Okerda and a host of other relatives and friends.
