Ida Mae Jackson, 74, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, departed this life Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Mobile. Religious service at Mount Canaan Baptist Church, 5820 Evangeline St. at 2 pm, Saturday, March 11. Conducted by Minister Michael Meardry. Interment in Mount Pilgrim Cemetery, Baton Rouge. Survived by two sons, Edmund Jackson and Michael Jackson both of Mobile; grandchildren, Nikissia Parker, Michael, Mitee and Timothy Meardry and LaShundra Jackson; great grandchildren Jarmell Meardry, Jr., Alayah , Aubrey and Acaurey Smith and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Denham Springs.
