September 3, 1965 - May 15, 2023

Edson Oppong, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 15, 2023. He entered this world on September 3, 1965, born to Emmanuel Kwasi Oppong and Elizabeth Akosua Assah in  Accra, Ghana.

Edson is survived by his wife, Charlett Adams-Oppong, his two sons, Denzel Oppong, Jermaine Oppong and wife Brooke Oppong, Stepson, Duran Adams, Brother, Jerkyl Yaw Oppong and wife Martine Corane, Sisters, Florence Madle, Comfort Nkansah, Juliana Ansomah, Janet Oppong. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Father, Emmanuel Kwasi Oppong and Mother, Elizabeth Akosua Assah Oppong. 

Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 9:00AM until Homegoing Service at 11:30AM. Both services will be held at MJR Friendly Services Funeral Home, 7803 Florida Blvd, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Service officiated by Pastor Paul Downing.
