Mr. Clydell Pitts, Sr., a resident of Baton Rouge departed this life on Friday, November 29, 2013 at his home at the age of 51. He was a well-known Professional Floor Technician, and a master of many trades. He was called the Louisiana Carpet Kid. Visitation at Days Chapel AME Church, 17721 Hwy. 10, Clinton, from 9 am Monday, December 9, 2013 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. Dr. Troy A. Williams. Interment in the church cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Bertha R. Pitts; wife, Debra W. Pitts; daughters, Tracey D. Pitts, Zakysha Muse, and Genesis Mott; sons, Clydell Pitts, Jr., and Christopher Williams; brother, Minister James H. Pitts, Jr.; sisters, Dyan P. Smith, Barbara P. Alexander, Debra P. Wright, and 15 grandchildren.
