Babara Nell Holiday

Barbara Nell "Bobbie" Holiday, 53, of Darlington, departed this life Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at St Helena Parish Hospital, Greenburg. Visitation at Black Creek AME Church, 217 Black Creek Church Lane, Greensburg from 8 am Saturday, August 30, 2014 until religious service at 11 am. Conducted by Rev. Darrel Ranel. Interment in the church cemetery. Barbara was a graduate of St. Helena High School and Southern University A & M College. She was employed with the US Postal Service as a clerk. She was a faithful member of Black Creek AME Church and enjoyed singing and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Survived by her parents, Rev. John K. and Leonia Holiday; siblings, Carolyn Manning (Jarvis), John Holiday (Doretta), Carl Holiday (Deonne) and Donna Jackson (Timothy) and a host of other relatives and friends.
