Alfred Spears, 66, a native of Greensburg and resident of New Orleans, departed this life Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014 at LSU Public Hospital, New Orleans. Visitation at MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, 87 Paddio Johnson Lane, Greensburg from 9 am Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 until religious at 12 noon. Interment in Jackson Chapel IME Church Cemetery, Greensburg. Survived by his wife, Olivia Ballard Spears; a daughter, Aretha Leona Buckley; a son, Allen Anthony Ballard; three sisters and four grandchildren.
